Education

Art Connections contains hands-on, interactive exhibits designed to raise visitors' understanding of the art in the museum's permanent collection. There are exhibits that are high tech and low tech, exhibits that allow for individual exploration and group interaction, and exhibits that encourage physical activity and quiet contemplation.

In Art Connections, it is possible to walk through a painting, create patterns through dance, make a collage, listen to a sculpture, or paint with a virtual paintbrush - activities that led Child Magazine to name The Cummer as one of the top 25 child-friendly museums in the country in 2006.
