Cummer Concert Series
3:00PM - 5:00PM
Zagreb Guitar Quartet
This exciting ensemble of young musicians - Tomislav Vasilj, Krunoslav Pehar, Melita Ivkovi and Mak Grgi – have premiered 12 new works by contemporary Croatian composers and also Johann Sebastian Bach’s The Art of the Fugue arranged for four guitars.
The unique flavor of the Quartet’s repertoire derives from their exploration of Mediterranean roots of Croatia along with the flamenco tradition of guitar and other Mediterranean cultures, including the almost forgotten music of Sephardic Jews from Bosnia - in original and exciting arrangements for four guitars.
For concert and brunch reservations, please call 904.899.6038.
